When should I start Balance?
If your cycle is regular, start Balance on the first day of menstruation to help you track your cycle and plan for ovulation.
To balance an irregular cycle, you can begin on any day. We recommend drinking Balance first thing in the morning when your pituitary gland is most receptive, with or without food*.
How do I make Balance?
It’s quick and easy. Simply mix one of the packets with at least 12 ounces of water or any non-carbonated beverage such as a smoothie.
How long should I take Balance?
Take for at least 2-3+ cycles for optimal benefits. Especially if you are coming off of hormonal birth control after an extended period of time.
If you are coming off of the Depo-Provera Shot, we recommend taking this drink mix for at least 3 cycles as studies show it can take up to a year to restore your cycle.
Can I take Balance for 6 months or more?
After taking Balance for 6 consecutive cycles, we recommend taking a month break before resuming again. This is recommended when taking supplements containing Vitex. We always recommend consulting your doctor for their recommendations for your body's specific needs.
Can I combine Balance with other Premama supplements?
Balance can be combined with Fertility Support for Her and/or Premama Prenatal Vitamin, so long as your doctor approves.
*Note: Balance is not a meal replacement.
Chasteberry: A main ingredient. Chasteberry is a natural source of progesterone and helps normalize the ratio of progesterone to estrogen. By balancing your hormones, chasteberry helps your cycles become regular again. It also works to strengthen and tone the uterus, supporting its function.*
Vitamin C + E: Prompts liver function by promoting the breakdown and removal of excess estrogen, hormones and toxins stored in the body while nourishing and regenerating the liver cells. Vitamin C increases progesterone in the body, which helps regulate menstrual cycles, thicken the lining of the uterus and improves ovarian function.*
Iodine: Iodine is crucial for proper thyroid function. The thyroid releases hormones into the bloodstream so the hormones can reach the body’s cells. Iodine also improves symptoms of PCOS including a reduction of ovarian cysts and regulation of periods.*
Magnesium: Reduces stress, may improve insulin resistance (helping women with PCOS), improves PMS symptoms, helps you sleep better, and combats inflammation (all of which is crucial for hormone balance). By reducing stress it helps enhance mood, relaxing the body.
Selenium: Beneficial for proper thyroid function + immune health. Helps in the removal of free radicals from the thyroid and prevents the thyroid from aging. Helps to prevent the build up of scar tissue in the thyroid.
